Individual Therapy

You have so much courage and strength within you to take those first steps in finding a counselor. Maybe you have some worries about sharing private information with someone you just met or are feeling anxious about not knowing what to expect in the therapy process. Rest assured, these thoughts and feelings are normal. Even if this is not your first time in therapy, it is still a different experience with a new counselor.

Finding a counselor that is a good fit is very important. It is a priority for me to help you feel safe and comfortable in my office. This is achieved by providing a calm, quiet atmosphere to share your most inner thoughts. I will be attentive and listen to not only your words but the feelings you are expressing. Skills such as relaxation and breathing exercises, mindfulness, and coping skills will help you feel empowered to bring what you learn in therapy into your everyday life.

Individual therapy is an opportunity to have one on one help with your challenges. While in my office, you will have my undivided attention. My focus is you.
